Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about therapy

How much does a session cost?

$225 per 50-minute session for individuals.

How long will I be in therapy?

While the answer to that question truly varies for every client, I ask clients to dedicate 3-4 months to their therapy investment at the beginning. By this time clients can generally determine if they have been able to meet their goals or if they would like to extend their therapy journey.

I have some clients that work with me for a few months on specific areas of healing and others that work with me for a couple of years to do a deep dive into their childhood, current relationships, and life trajectory. The length of your therapy will depend on what your goals end up being, but don’t worry! You don’t have to have that all figured out to get started - we will work together to set goals that will get you where you want to be.

What does a session look like?

I meet with clients for weekly, 50-minute sessions. You will have the same session time each week so that you can make therapy a regular part of your schedule. I have found that this level of consistency is key in forming a safe connection for clients to do the deeper work that will get them to their goals faster and more effectively.

Can I use my insurance to cover the cost of therapy?

I offer private-pay therapy and do not work directly with any insurance companies. If you would like to have your therapy cost reimbursed you will need to verify that out of network providers for mental health services are covered through your insurance plan. If needed, I would be happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
